About Us

We are not interested in building another PowerPoint® clone ("one damn slide after another"). Instead, we will make it easy for thoughtful people to create thoughtful presentations using text, images, tables, and charts.

And, as if that wasn't enough, we are building tools to make it easy to build powerful visualizations of your data.

Here's our best guess at how the magic will ensue:

1. data: uploading, annotating, editing
2. charts: creating, editing
3. text: rich text formatting with embedded objects
4. presentations: layout, layout, layout
5. search
6. animation: allow data to change over time etc...

Our front end is a combination of HTML, Javascript, and Flash. Our backend is running Ruby (on Rails at the moment) and Mysql. We currently run out of the Amazon EC2 cloud. Our development is being done all over the US in Boston (record hi/lo 103.0/-18.0F), Amherst (100.0/-30.0F), Denver (104.0/-25.0F), Madison (108.0/-38.0F), and Southfield (don't ask) on Macs (of course).
